Providing the creative vision for Socialcast and its technology, Timothy brings nearly a decade of web development experience and over 8 years of entrepreneurship to the company. His prior venture, Event Robot, developed online communities for consumer-facing brands in the entertainment industry. Timothy's interests include emergent processes and behaviors, flock theory, connectionism, and collective intelligence, all of which are integrated into the Socialcast product. He regularly speaks about social networking and collaboration at industry conferences and guest teaches at the University of California, Irvine.
Matt is the Vice President of Product at Socialcast, bringing over 13 years of product development experience in serving the enterprise market. Prior to Socialcast, Matt was the head of Product Strategy at SumTotal, providing talent development solutions that focused on employee engagement, productivity, and driving a high-performance culture. Before SumTotal, Matt held technology and product leadership roles at both startup and enterprise companies including AIT, MAPICS (Infor), and FirstLocus. Matt's interests include social learning, enterprise collaboration and productivity, human capital intelligence, and open web standards. Beyond his profession, Matt is an avid tennis player and disc golfer.
Lars is a Senior Engineer at Socialcast with professional interests in software engineering and Web application development. He holds his undergraduate degree in Computer Science, with honors, from Brown University. Before joining Socialcast, Lars held positions as a senior member of the technical staff at both Oracle and Digital River. Other professional interests of Lars include developing e-commerce and large scale social networking applications. When not working, Lars can be found reading, watching movies and spending time with his family.
Josh is the creative force behind the Socialcast experience. His skills as a front-end designer—a passion for Web Standards, Microformats, and beautiful, clear interfaces—are mixed with a firm understanding of information design and intuitive user experiences. For the last few years he has been working on and designing web applications that focus on improving communication in one way or another. When he is not designing, Josh can usually be found laughing and playing with his wife and daughter.
Carrie provides the direction for marketing, partnerships and client fulfillment with a philosophy of proactive servicing and communication at all times. A veteran of B2B relationship-building, Carrie’s experience includes managing corporate sponsorships at the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, partnership marketing at The Irvine Company, and press and event management at Nickelodeon and DIC Entertainment. Carrie graduated cum laude with a degree in English from UCLA and holds an MBA from UC Irvine.
