How does the 30-day free trial work?
Enjoy 30 days free with Socialcast for all new clients. You may have up to 250 users during this free trial. If you cancel your plan within 30 days of signing up, you won't be charged a thing. Simply start using your community and evaluate its success at your company. If you're dissatisfied for any reason within 30 days, you can cancel your account at no cost to you.
How do you bill me?
We bill clients one time per month for all accounts that are currently activated in your community. Each activated user account costs $5 per month or any portion thereof. Your credit card will be automatically charged for the maximum number of activated accounts in your community that month. Upon payment, you’ll receive an email statement for your records. See our Terms and Conditions for more details.
How do I add or deactivate users?
You can add or deactivate employees instantly through the Admin Panel in your community. You'll only be charged for activated accounts every month, and we'll never charge additional fees for maintaining your community.
How do I cancel my account?
You can cancel your entire account at any time by clicking on the “cancel” link from within the admin panel on the “billing information” page. If you cancel the Service before the end of your current paid-up month, your cancellation will take effect immediately and you will not be charged again.
Who is considered an “activated” user?
An activated user is a user who has clicked on his or her activation email to join the community, and who has not bee “deactivated” by the administrator in the admin panel. All users who have a login and password for the system are considered “activated” users and will be accounted for in the monthly billing. Even if a user has not visited the community during the month, but still has the ability to do so, their account is still considered “activated” and will be charged accordingly.
Do I have to sign a contract?
With Socialcast, there are never any long term commitments or contracts. You pay for your community on a month-to-month basis based on the number of activated users. Sorry, but we don't prorate months; your monthly fees include use of the service for one month or any portion thereof. We do not issue refunds (see our No Refund Policy for more details).
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express via our secure online system. Invoicing is available for companies with more than 250 users; please contact us at info@socialcast.com to set up a community of 251+ users.
Will my data be safe?
The security of our clients’ data is of the utmost importance. We have worked closely with hardware and software vendors and communities we utilize to ensure that we are employing all the security precautions possible. We have a layered security program and are constantly re-evaluating our security protocols in order to find areas for improvement. All Socialcast communities are on applications servers located behind powerful firewalls. We also use 128-bit SSL data encryption for login sessions (user IDs and passwords). Additionally, the application is separated into layers which separate the application from client data. Everyone who logs into the application only has access to the application layer. Data record management and audit trails are maintained within the Socialcast application. We track every data record put into the system by detailed user and time-stamp.

It is your sole responsibility to manage activated accounts. In order to treat every customer and account equally, no exceptions will be made to this policy.
